Life coaching cancer support is essentially having someone in your life to support you through your cancer journey.
Cancer diagnosis and treatment can be both confusing and traumatic. It can be difficult to make sense of the journey ahead and how to guide yourself through it.
People often find it hard to share what they are feeling with those close to them. Talking to a coach gives you the opportunity to share your thoughts and feelings in a safe, non-judgemental space.
When diagnosed with cancer, people often ask “why me”? With regular meetings, I can help you make sense of why you feel the way you do.
Cancer can affect you both physically and mentally and with my support, you can regain and retain as much as control as possible through this time.
Being told you have cancer can be overwhelming and in this state of mind it is often difficult to take in information from medical professionals.
Treating cancer quickly means a better prognosis but often people feel it is all moving too fast for them to keep up with, mentally and emotionally.
Part of my role is to help you process what you are being told and help you understand what is coming next in a calm and controlled way.
Your treatment has finished. The last few weeks/months/years have been a whirlwind and you are now free to resume your life.
But it’s not the same. You are not the same. Your values and beliefs may have changed. Your priorities may have changed. How do you fit back into life?
Talking to me can help you find a way forward. We can discuss your thoughts and feelings, and together we will find your new perspective to help you identify what you want and need out of life.
Working together we can rebuild your confidence and regain the control you need after such a chaotic and possibly traumatic time.
Your experiences are specific to you. Your needs are explicitly yours. My approach is tailored specifically to you, this is not a one size fits all service.
I will offer a safe, confidential, and supportive space to help you find your own solutions leaving you feeling heard, understood, and valued.
I will work with you to help you identify the challenges in your life in a respectful and non-judgemental way. I will not impose my own views and opinions, this is your life, I am just here to help you realise all the possibilities.
